Everything the NFL builder does, and which plan includes it

Slates and Data

Every DraftKings NFL slate

Classic slates of any size, from the full main slate to two-game primetime slates, plus single-game Captain Mode (Showdown). Slate cards show kickoff windows, game counts, and Featured status.

Synced player pool

Salaries, positions, roster slots, DraftKings player IDs, and FPPG are synced several times a day, so the pool matches what you will see on DraftKings and the export uploads cleanly.

Game odds and implied totals

Spread and over/under for every game, one click away on the games row. The player table carries ITT (Implied Team Total), color-coded by favorite or underdog, so you can sort the pool by expected scoring.

Injury designations

Out, Doubtful, Questionable, and IR tags on every player, refreshed between full syncs from two independent sources. Filter to injured players only, or auto-trash a status in one click. Designations are not game-time updates — always confirm before you enter.

Stale-data notice

If a slate's player or odds data is older than it should be, a notice at the top of the builder tells you before you build.

Player Pool

Editable FPPG

FPPG is DraftKings' season average of actual points per game, not a projection. Type a new number for any player or nudge it 5% at a time. The ΔFP% column shows how far each player has moved from baseline, and a reset button puts him back. Builds use your adjusted numbers.

Per-player exposure

Min and Max exposure inputs on every row. Min 100 keeps a player in every lineup; a low Max caps a pivot. Caps are paced across the build, so a 50% player lands in exactly half the lineups, spread evenly.

Trash and auto-trash

Remove any player from the pool with one click and restore him from the trash list. Auto-trash clears players under a salary or FPPG threshold or carrying a chosen injury status. Your profile's auto-trash rules run every time a slate loads.

Filters, search, and sorting

Filter by one or more positions (including FLEX, and CPT and K in Showdown), show injured players only, search by name, and sort any column: salary, FPPG, FP/$1K, ITT, team.

Profile defaults

Your Builder Defaults page stores defaults for lineup count, minimum salary, unique players, auto-trash thresholds and statuses, and (Season Pass) every builder setting, from stacks and bring-back to volatility and lineup rules, plus max exposure by position. Every slate opens with them applied.

One-click reset

RESET returns builder settings, FPPG edits, exposure values, and the trash list to your defaults so you can start a fresh angle on the same slate.

Builder Settings

Lineup count and minimum salary are available on every plan. The three tabs below are part of the Season Pass.

Lineups Free: 20 Season Pass: 150

Presets of 1, 3, 5, 20, 50, 100, and 150 lineups, or any number you type.

Minimum salary

A floor on what each lineup spends of the $50,000 cap (default $40,000), so the solver does not leave value unused.

QB stacks Season Pass

SINGLE, DOUBLE, TRIPLE, and QUAD: a quarterback with one to four of his pass catchers. Enable one or several shapes and every lineup carries one of them around its QB. Optionally include running backs as stack partners.

RB & DST stack Season Pass

Pair a running back with his own defense for positive game-script correlation in games you expect a favorite to control.

Stack exposure caps Season Pass

A percentage on each stack shape caps how often any one team's stack of that shape may appear across the build, so one hot game does not take over every lineup.

Volatility Season Pass

0% to 30%, with Cash, Balanced, and GPP presets. Each player's FPPG is nudged up or down by up to this much, freshly for every lineup, to spread a tournament build across the pool.

Team exposure Season Pass

The share of lineups any one team may appear in, from 10% to no cap.

Unique players Season Pass

Every lineup differs from every other by at least 2 to 6 players. No two lineups in a build are ever identical.

Players per team Season Pass

Cap any one team at 3 to 8 players per lineup, or leave it open.

QB vs DST Season Pass

Never roster a quarterback with the defense he is facing.

Stacks, team exposure, and QB vs DST apply to Classic slates. Showdown lineups already draw from both teams, so those tabs are inactive in Captain Mode.

Build Engine and Results

Unique lineups

An integer-programming solver builds each lineup as the highest-FPPG roster that fits the cap, slots, stacks, rules, and uniqueness against every lineup before it. Each lineup is solved exactly, not sampled, and no two in a build are alike.

Builds with a progress bar

Small builds come back in a few seconds. Larger builds run in the background with a progress bar, lineup count, and time estimate; stacks and tight exposure caps make a build slower.

Player usage

Every player in the build with the share and count of lineups he is in, filterable by position, plus the projected-points and salary range across the build.

Build statistics

Stack breakdown by shape and the share of stacked lineups, salary distribution, and average salary by position, so you can confirm the build matches the plan.

Clear errors, partial results

Impossible settings (a stack larger than your per-team cap, a min exposure above a max) are caught before the build runs. If constraints only allow some of the lineups requested, you get those, flagged as partial.

Lineup Editor, Pruning, and History

Lineup editor

One row per lineup with every slot, projected points, and salary. Name the build, remove or duplicate selected lineups, and save.

Pruning with preview

Trim a build to a target count with Top FPPG, Most Different, Spread Exposure, or Stack Variety. Preview highlights the lineups that would go before you apply it, and Remove Duplicates drops exact copies.

Build history

Every build for a slate, with lineup count, average points, average salary, top lineup, and build time. Your browser keeps the 20 most recent builds plus up to 5 you save, for a week.

Compare builds

Put two builds from the same slate side by side and copy lineups from one into the other to assemble a final set from several angles.

Export

DraftKings-ready CSV Season Pass

Download any build, edited set, or comparison result as a CSV in DraftKings' bulk-upload format with the correct player IDs. Upload it on the contest page and DraftKings creates one entry per row.
